Neumanville is the name given to a proposed small village located at the intersection of State Route 64 and Kirk Road in the midst of what is currently part of a large shopping mall in the sprawling Fox River town of St. Charles. This 2009 graduate thesis project by Dan DeGreve illustrates how St. John Neumann parish, an existing suburban Catholic church, might densify and develop its presently underused property in such a way as to make the church and its school the center of a vibrant walkable mixed-use village.
