William Rutledge
An expansion of Howard Van Doren Shaw’s historic Lake Forest Market Square in one of metropolitan Chicago’s most famous north shore communities, William Rutledge’s 2013 graduate thesis project envisions an increase of both public space and retail, office and residential uses in a densified Lake Forest town center focused upon a new market hall.
